Parent consultation

You're carrying a worry about your child and you're not sure where it fits. Maybe you're not ready to book therapy. Maybe you just need an hour with someone who knows children to think it through properly, without small ears in the room. Asking for that isn't overreacting. It's parenting.

What changes

Where this work takes you

A clear, unhurried conversation with a children's therapist, and a plan you actually believe in. Sometimes that plan is play therapy. Sometimes it's a change at home, a conversation with school, or the reassurance that what you're seeing is a normal season. You'll leave knowing which.

Every session includes

  • 45 minutes, in person in Pontcanna or over video
  • A proper, structured look at what's going on for your child
  • Honest advice on whether play therapy would help, with no pressure either way
  • Practical suggestions you can start at home this week

Start with a message

Tell me a little about your child and what's been happening. A few honest lines are plenty, and there is no obligation in asking. If it feels right, we'll book a free 15-minute phone chat so you can hear how I work, ask anything at all, and decide in your own time. Your child only ever meets me once you're confident it's right.

Asked before booking

Does my child come to this?

No, and that's deliberate. This is the space to speak freely about the hard stuff: the separation, the diagnosis, the thing that happened, without your child hearing it discussed. They only ever meet me once we've agreed the way forward together.
